4 foot by 30 inches with a solid wood backer with a mosaic pattern in a black stain (so we can keep some of the graining of the wood), then the metal layered over the hardwoods (i'm not sure light or dark yet) so that then you look at it from the side, you see some of the dimension from the varying colors. The border will match one of the hardwoods layered under the metal.
